Trigger Hanger Suits REM 700 Style Actions & Triggers

Our standard trigger hangers are precision machined from 7075 high strength aluminium and are designed to fit various makes of Rem 700 clone triggers. They are available in two models to cover the offset range from 0 to 30 thousandths of an inch in 10 thousandths steps and are used to allow a small variation in the positioning of different aftermarket triggers in a range of rifle actions.

Due to the variations in manufacturing tolerances between rifle actions and the triggers themselves, an aftermarket trigger may not always bolt straight into your action and operate well, in some situations it may not even allow the action to cock when the bolt is closed.

Our standard hangers are compatible with all Armaments by Design actions as well as Bat Machine actions and many others. Check the drawing dimensions shown in the attached PDF file against your action.

If your trigger has an upper safety fitted, you may need to file the edge corner of the hanger slightly under the safety lever to allow its free movement. Some triggers are ok, and some will need a little filing of the top edge to accommodate the shape of the safety lever.

The bare trigger hangers are not supplied with mounting screws or pins as different manufacturers use varying thread forms and sizes and the pins can be purchased separately on our web site.
