Armaments By Design Pty Ltd (ABN 44 644 324 194) is an Australian company devoted to the design and manufacturing of a range of innovative firearm industry accessories using the most modern and advanced software, systems and CNC machines available. Armaments By Design is a relatively new business, first registered in 2021, but we have owners and operators behind us that have been in the engineering and manufacturing area of business for over 45 years. That extensive experience and knowledge is now being focused on the design and manufacturing of armament products in Australia.

Our 1000sq/m (almost 11,000sq/ft) workshop is home to top end Japanese CNC turning, milling and EDM wire cutting machines as well as a comprehensive range of manual machines, clean room and associated equipment. Our modern CNC machines are setup for economical manufacturing of small production runs and with bar feeders fitted we can also handle large runs at competitive prices. With large tool magazines preloaded in the vertical machining center and multitasking machine we can complete jobbing work economically with metric or imperial threads and dimensions to suit your requirements.

We have also installed all equipment necessary for a Cerakote painting facility and hold a range of paint types and colours in stock.

Our aim is to design and manufacture products to world standards from quality raw materials with an acceptable price and short lead times.

The service offered by Armaments By Design is different to what is usually available in the firearms industry in Australia in that we design, manufacture and direct market the products we manufacture ourselves, offer extensive customisation with short lead times, and carry standard stock items on the shelves.

We do not act as an agent for or sell any other manufacturer’s products, but we do manufacture specialist components for other dealers and distributors that are exclusive to them and not available through our online store.
Our owners, managers and a number of our staff are firearm owners and users and understand the issues we face in this country regarding obtaining firearm accessories.

We have designed and manufactured a limited range of products initially but are building on this range on a regular basis. If you have a specific product that you need urgently and can’t find in Australia or simply have a new product idea you believe could be useful in the industry, let us know through our contacts page and we will see if we can help you.

All our products are thoroughly tested before release for sale, and we believe are suitable for their designed use, but if you have any doubts or reservations about any product, or experience any perceived shortcoming in its performance, please let us know and we will repair, replace and even redesign the product to improve its performance. We are a relatively small business operation and are very flexible in our operation. Because our products are new to market and have been thoroughly tested before release for sale, we believe they are the best available, but we will always listen to constructive criticism and redesign an item if it is found wanting in performance.
