Direct Mount Scope Rings To Suit 36mm Tube

Direct mount scope rings are sold as a pair to fit directly onto our AbD manufactured actions. They are available as a plain ring pair, level vial fitted to one ring of the pair or inbuilt MOA machined into the rings.

Direct mount scope ring pairs with inbuilt MOA must be mounted in the correct manner on the correct action body and are marked accordingly. Ring sets with inbuilt MOA will only fit the action they were designed for due to the difference in action body lengths and rings with different MOA machined into them cannot be interchanged and mixed. They are, however a very secure and compact weight saving method of mounting a rifle scope when every gram counts.

All direct mount scope ring sets are machined to the height required to allow the mounting of a scope with a 56mm objective lens over a 32mm diameter barrel with clearance for lens caps. This results in different heights for different MOA settings due to the additional forward tilt angle of the scope as the MOA is increased.

All AbD direct mount ring sets are sold as a kit which includes the required dowel pins and screws to attach the mounts to the AbD rifle action and a comprehensive instruction sheet for fitting.

Direct mount scope rings are also fitted with an M4 threaded jacking hole and two long M4 screw are supplied in the kit for removal of the ring mount off the dowel pins without damage.
