Our action wrenches are all manufactured to tight tolerances out of 4140 high tensile steel bar stock and will fit your action bore and locking lugs accurately. The driving lugs of the tool are machined as a very close replica of the actual rifle bolt so that full contact with the action locking lug faces is made by the tool. We believe this design will result in minimising any possibility of damaging the locking lug surfaces inside the action during use of the action wrench. The machined tools are then polished in a vibratory polisher to remove all burrs and give the tool a smooth, polished surface. The tools have a finished hardness of 28 to 30Rc.
We have yet to see an action/barrel combination that could not be undone with one of our tools and they are suitable for use on factory assembled rifles with high torque barrel seating.
