These dies will expand the .220” case neck internally to 0.2455” drive pin diameter and cases will require neck turning depending on neck wall thickness before loading.
Annealing of the hydroformed cases is recommended before loading.
All development work has been done based on Lapua “blue box” brass, but the dies can be used with other brands of brass.
If you have a specific calibre or neck diameter you would like to see a hydroform die available for, contact us with the details. Custom chamber dies can be manufactured if you send your chamber reamer to us. Manufacturing time will usually be 4 to 6 weeks maximum and often much less. Case length for head spacing can be customised to suit your rifle chamber and we will need a few empty cases that have been fired in your rifle to do this step. We find we can achieve better results by hydroforming the case a few thousandths shorter than chamber length rather than making it longer and having to compress it back to under chamber length during resizing before loading.
